Thanks for all your votes.  It took me a while to tally them- but, tally I did and the winner is… pomeranian!

Please continue to vote for your favorite breeds.  I’ll definitely consider your votes as I continue to create new posters.

There’s been quite a bit of attention given to this topic recently.  I guess some of this is news for non-dog owners?  Here’s a Seattle Times article.

We spent the 4th at a dog-friendly resort on the Olympic Peninsula.  Lots of pampered pups with their adoring owners.  The resort shows free movies nightly.

Hotel for Dogs was the feature saturday night.  Clever choice.

Caffe D’Arte downtown on 2nd and Stewart was was nice enough to let us display 8 of the prints in their store.  Cathy insisted on being in the photo. If you’re an espresso person like me-this place is a must when in the Pike Place Market area.

I love this guy.  His name is Ib and he looks like he just walked off the set of Planet of The Apes.  What’s not to love?
Ib Geertsen is the grand old man of Danish abstraction, but was little known in the UK until he was championed by London’s Rocket Gallery in a recent group show with other Danes associated with an abstract movement known as Konkrete. This was followed by Geertsen’s first London solo show [at Rocket] in 2009, at the age of 90.
